Two chinese sticks (i.e. wands with tasselled strings) seem to have a mysterious connection, when held together the magician pulls one down, and the other one rises. The audience is sure they can see some point of connection, but when the magician splits them apart completely the mysterious tassels continue to have their invisible connection!
